Sculptra®

Treatment with Sculptra® helps to restore fullness in areas where you have lost volume and produces a natural, younger looking you. Sculptra® is an injectable form of poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) and works differently than the traditional hyaluronic acid fillers such as Restylane® and Juvederm®.

Sculptra® is a biostimulator of collagen and helps to increase collagen production, thereby adding fullness to areas such as the cheeks, jawline, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, temples and chin. Injections are performed over two to four treatment sessions (on average three) each approximately one month apart. Results are subtle since they become apparent gradually over time as the body’s own cellular processes work to deposit more collagen in the treated areas and thicken dermal skin. This happens over several months and results in a natural, fuller and more youthful appearance. Results can last over 2 years.

Treatment with Sculptra® is tailored to you, treating the specific areas that concern you. (Sculptra® is not recommended around the eyes or in the lips.) During each treatment session, Sculptra® is placed in precise areas, in order to “sculpt” your face back to its more youthful shape.
